FROM THE AUTHOR
Years ago when I started shooting I looked for a technical book to help me learn this demanding and unforgiving sport. I found a few helpful books, but not one technical textbook giving precise instructions on how to shoot clay targets with solid accuracy. I needed a hands-on, how-to book. As an author, it came to pass that if there ever was to be a trap shooting technical book I would have to write it. Over a period of many years I interviewed professional trapshooters, tested the advice on the trapfield, wrote it down, developed technical illustrations to reveal gun and eye hold points, etc., then tested the advice again and again on the trapfield until it was just right. When the book was published it took off like a rocket. Trap shooters really learned secrets to the game that helped solved so many of the mysteries of the sport and they saw immediate improvements in their scores. Many readers wrote "thank you" letters and requested double trap shooting advice. The suggestions were heard and are now incorporated in both trap shooting books. A lot of work went into producing these new editions and the books are now better than ever. I am certain you will enjoy these new trap shooting books, as many shooters have testified to their complete satisfaction. After all, shooting high scores is more fun than losing.
